TORONTO – A large Bengal tiger prowling Toronto’s Kensington Market caught the attention of a few people early Thursday morning.
The striped creature was taking part in a music video shoot for the song “Thru The Fire” by local hip hop artist Tasha The Amazon.
The tiger was on a leash and was accompanied by a handler.
Tonight, while you slumber, just know that I’mma be out here, walking a Bengal tiger thru the streets of Toronto.

The rap artist, whose real name is Tasha Schumann, isn’t a stranger to working with wild animals.
She recently completed a shoot with alligators in the Florida Everglades.
“We drove down to the Everglades and shot in the wild with eight foot gators,” she told Global News. “So this is kind of on par with that. Probably a little less dangerous.”
Kensington Market is a familiar area for Schumann, who last year shot a video for the single “Scallywags“ in the downtown neighbourhood.
